|| Depositing hate? Let me get that for you. ||

I don’t understand why people are leaving hate in people’s ask boxes.

I’m sorry, but really, did they really deserve that?

If you saw that person in real life, would you still go up to them and say it? Do they deserve it that much?

What is the point in destroying people’s self-esteem? Does it make you feel better, more powerful? Are you just bored, is that why you do it?

What on earth spurs you to say something awful to someone? You probably don’t even know them.

And I, personally, have enough of people throwing out just plainstupid comments like, “Your blog sucks” or “You’re so stupid, why don’t you just leave”. Let’s have a proper look at these statements.

Firstly, you give no evidence to support your opinion, which in general just make you look stupid and provocative. If you are going to make a statement like that, at least tell the person why you think so. Give them a chance to improve. I believe the term is “constructive criticism”.

Secondly, what gives you the right to judge? And must you voice your opinions? You are entitled to have one, certainly, but must you voice it? And in such a vulgar manner? Your choice of words in particular is quite poor. If you must voice your opinions, make them a little more specific and sophisticated, please.

And lastly, why do you have to tell them personally? You are under no obligation to follow their blog, or in fact, to look at it or have anything to do with it at all. So why do you feel the need to deposit hate in their ask box? If you don’t like them, don’t follow them, and don’t look at their blog. Simple as that. If you feel the need to vent your opinions, do it on your blog, not theirs. They should not have to see your opinions if they don’t want to.

And I think that’s enough from me. Rant over.
